A theft from a business construction site on the 4100 block of Lyman Drive between 3:30 p.m. Oct. 21 and 6:50 a.m. Oct. 22 recently was reported to the Hilliard Division of Police.

A commercial floor scale and accessories worth $10,000 were reported stolen, according to police spokeswoman Andrea Litchfield. They were taken from an unlocked storage container, she said.

In other recent Hilliard incident reports:

* A wallet containing a high school ID card, an amusement-park pass and money was reported stolen between 12:30 p.m. Oct. 17 and 12:40 p.m. Oct. 18 at Hilliard Bradley High School, 2800 Walker Road. Property loss was reported at $99.

* A backpack and textbooks were reported stolen at noon Oct. 18 from a vehicle parked on the 4700 block of Jeannette Road. Property loss was $300.
