Reynoldsburg police said a 34-year-old Pataskala man was arrested on multiple charges Oct. 23 in the parking lot of a department store on the 2700 block of Taylor Road Southwest.

According to police reports, officers investigating a complaint of a stolen vehicle in the area arrested the man shortly after midnight on charges of receiving stolen property, possession of drugs, possession of drug-abuse instruments, falsification, theft and the selling, purchasing, distributing or delivering of dangerous drugs.

* A 17-year-old girl reported an attempted break-in Oct. 25 at an apartment on the 7000 block of Trillium Lane. According to police reports, the girl said she was awakened by a loud noise near the back door at 6:30 a.m. and saw a man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt in her backyard, but he was unable to enter the apartment.

After calling police, she found the back door frame was damaged and also discovered a front screen window had been removed, according to reports.

* A 29-year-old Whitehall man was arrested on charges of unlawful restraint at 8:45 p.m. Oct. 23 after police were called to an address on the 7300 block of David Avenue.

* Police issued a mayor's-court summons to a 26-year-old Reynoldsburg woman on charges of endangering children after officers responded to an address on the 2000 block of Commons Road shortly after 9:14 p.m. Oct. 19.
