Dublin police received several recent reports of thefts of tools from vehicles.

Tools valued at $4,535 were reported stolen at 6:57 a.m. Oct. 15 from a vehicle on the 5100 block of Upper Metro Place according to Dublin police department incident reports.

Another report of tools valued at $2,450 stolen from another vehicle was filed at 11:55 a.m. the same day at the same location.

Police said theybelieve the thefts are related.

Tools worth $3,620 were reported stolen at 7:35 a.m. Oct. 16 on the 3900 block of Tuller Road. Reports said there was also $300 in damage to the vehicle from which the tools were stolen. At 1:06 p.m. Oct. 13, tools worth $425 were reported stolen from a vehicle on the 5500 block of Tuttle Crossing Boulevard.

* A 33-year-old man was charged with drug abuse of a schedule I or II substance Oct. 23 on the 5500 block of Tuttle Crossing Boulevard.

* A 37-year-old woman was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs Oct. 22 at Sawmill Road near Summit View Road.

* Cabinets valued at $8,000 were reported stolen at 11:43 a.m. Oct. 22 from a construction site on the 7500 block of Barrister Drive.

* A 38-year-old woman was charged with assault Oct. 20 at U.S. Route 33 East and Frantz Road.

* A 55-year-old woman was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs Oct. 20 at state Route 161 and Shamrock Boulevard.

* A 26-year-old man was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs Oct. 20 on the first block of Dave Thomas Boulevard.

* A 38-year-old woman was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs Oct. 19 at Emerald Parkway and Bright Road.

* Consumable goods in the amount of $383.82 were reported stolen at 6:58 p.m. Oct. 18 from a business on the 7600 block of Sawmill Road.

* Checks in the amount of $3,037 were reported stolen at 8:05 a.m. Oct. 18 from a business on the 7400 block of Wellington Reserve Court.

* Cash totalling $100 was reported stolen at 6:39 a.m. Oct. 18 from a vehicle on the 7500 block of Sawmill Road.

* Cash totalling $500 was reported stolen at 3:38 a.m. Oct. 18 from a business on the 6700 block of Dublin Center Drive.

* Merchandise totaling $1 was reported stolen at 10:45 a.m. Oct. 17 on the 4200 block of Tuller Road.

* Vandals are believed to have broken a window at 3:34 a.m. Oct. 15 at the Dublin branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library, 75 N High St.

* A cellphone case and gift cards, totaling $60, were reported stolen at 9:40 p.m. Oct. 14 from a vehicle on the 6700 block of Dublin Center Drive.

* A 37-year-old woman was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs Oct. 13 at Bridge and High streets.

* Documents, credit-debit cards, a cellphone, personal effects, a gift card, $65 cash, a purse and wallet, all valued at $1,218, were reported stolen at 4:50 p.m. Oct. 13 from a vehicle on the 3800 block of Hard Road.

* A 55-year-old man was charged with criminal trespass Oct. 12 on the 6100 block of Perimeter Drive.

* A 16-year-old Hilliard boy was arrested for stealing $680.23 from his place of employment on the 200 block of West Bridge Street. The theft was reported at 5:16 p.m. Oct. 11. The boy reportedly told police he was stealing because he was a victim of extortion from individuals at his school.

* A 24-year-old man was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs Oct. 11 at U.S. Route 33 West and Interstate 270 South.
