A new restaurant is expected to move into a remodeled East Main Street building that's currently home to a sports bar.

Reynoldsburg’s Planning Commission on Nov. 7 unanimously approved a minor site-plan modification for the property at 6493 E. Main St.

The 3,500-square-foot building, currently operated by Crown Sports Pub, will be modified to incorporate a drive-thru window.

It's expected that a fast-casual style restaurant will occupy the remodeled space, officials said.

An outdoor dining patio and additional landscaping will be added, with new brick and metal facade elements planned for the building's exterior.

The site is owned by Coughlin/Ricketts Properties, Ltd., and the building was constructed in 1973, according to the Franklin County Auditor's Office website.
