Lithium batteries, a two-way radio, tools, headphones, a coat and other property, all worth a total of $615, were reported stolen between 12:40 and 12:45 a.m. Nov. 12 from a vehicle parked on the 4300 block of Jennydawn Place, according to the Hilliard Division of Police.

A window was broken to gain entry to the vehicle. A specific time was known because a security camera filmed a vehicle arriving and leaving, police said.

Police are investigating.

In other recent Hilliard police incident reports:

* Hammers, cordless drills, pipe wrenches, concrete saws, shovels, a gas torch and other tools and equipment, all worth $5,627, were reported stolen between 10 and 11 p.m. Nov. 10 from a vehicle parked on the 4600 block of Northwest Parkway. No other details were immediately available.

* A man told police he saw a male searching through his vehicle at 2:55 a.m. Nov. 10 from a vehicle parked on the 3200 block of Darbyshire Drive in Norwich Township.

The male ran away when the man came outside, police said.

Nothing was removed from the vehicle, but an officer found a bottle of over-the-counter medication believed to have been taken from a different vehicle, police said.

Police are investigating.

* A 36-year-old man was arrested for drug abuse and possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanor charges, at 4:55 p.m. Nov. 7 at Cemetery Road and Interstate 270 North.
