A resident reported gasoline was stolen from his vehicle at 12:21 a.m. Nov. 22 on the 500 block of Plymouth Street, according to the Worthington Division of Police.

The man said he keeps track of the gas based on the mileage. He knew his tank had been full because he had fueled the vehicle the day before.

In other recent Worthington police incident reports:

* An elderly resident told police he was the victim of a scam after he was instructed via a phone call to buy $1,000 worth of gift cards to keep his Social Security benefits Nov. 21 at 11:30 a.m. on Pingree Drive. The resident was able to provide the area code for the caller, which led to a Houston phone number.

* A resident reported someone forged a signature on a check for $1,830 and cashed it at noon Nov. 10 on the first block of East Southington Avenue.
