Gahanna police received a report of a man committing a robbery at a Morse Road business at 4:24 a.m. Nov. 27.

The robber was described as an older, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 man, wearing a navy-blue jacket and hat, and his jacket was zipped all the way up, according to reports.

The robber took several $20 bills and fled the scene when he saw the reporting party hit a button, according to reports.

Police checked nearby businesses and no surveillance cameras were observed.

Police also provided the robber's description to two nearby overnight clerks, who said no one matching that description entered their stores that night, reports said.

* Items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Colony Place, according to a report received at 9:10 a.m. Dec. 2.

* A Colony Court resident said her feminine products were dumped out in her unlocked vehicle, according to a report received at 8:25 a.m. Dec. 2. Nothing was taken. Someone rummaged through the car after 6 p.m. Dec. 1, and it was discovered at 6 a.m. Dec. 2, reports said.

A cellphone was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Shadewood Court, according to a report received at 8:23 a.m. Dec. 2.

* A wallet was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Penny Lane South, according to a report received at 8:04 a.m. Dec. 2. The theft occurred sometime between 4 and 7:30 a.m., reports said.

* Items were stolen from a vehicle on Colony Place, according to a report received at 7:49 a.m. Dec. 2.

* Items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Moorfield Drive, according to a report received at 7:37 a.m. Dec. 2.

* A customer's room at a business on Taylor Road smelled of marijuana, according to a report received at 11:25 p.m. Dec. 1. The business had charged the tenant a fee because of the odor, reports said. The tenant wouldn't allow anyone in the room, according to reports.

* A vehicle window was broken out by an unidentified person on West Johnstown Road, according to a report received at 4:56 p.m. Dec. 1.

* A tire was stolen from a vehicle overnight at a residence on Meadow Green Circle, according to a report received at 7:53 a.m. Nov. 30.

* A Pinewood Lane resident reported hearing 15 to 20 gunshots, according to a report received at 8:04 p.m. Nov. 29. The resident wanted police to check the area. A resident on Whitley Drive advised the noise was fireworks.

* Rims and hubcaps were stolen from a vehicle at a West Johnstown Road residence, according to a report received at 7:54 a.m. Nov. 27.

* A customer was drunken and asleep in the dining room of a Granville Street restaurant, according to a report received at 9:47 p.m. Nov. 27. He had been there for at least 30 minutes, report said. The man was dropped off at a local motel, according to reports.
