Two burglaries were reported to the Hilliard Division of Police earlier this month.
A washer, dryer and television were reported stolen between 5 and 6 p.m. Dec. 2 on the 3900 block of Hill Park Road. Property loss was reported at $1,800.
Officers observed a broken window at the residence.
A burglary also was reported between 8 p.m. Nov. 23 and 1:30 a.m. Dec. 2 at a residence on the 3100 block of Carriage Lane in Norwich Township.
The homeowners had been gone for an extended period and returned home to find an open door. No signs of forced entry were found.
Both burglaries remain under investigation, said Andrea Litchfield, a police spokeswoman.
In other recent Hilliard police incident reports:
* A 14-year-old girl was charged with assault and disorderly conduct after allegedly striking a 15-year-old girl at 12:07 p.m. Dec. 5 at Hilliard Bradley High School, 2800 Walker Road.
* A 23-year-old Columbus man and a 22-year-old Columbus man were charged for assault, a second-degree misdemeanor, after they allegedly attacked a 22-year-old man at his place of employment on the 5300 block of Cemetery Road at 3:10 p.m. Dec. 7.
The assault occurred after an argument, police said
An officer stopped the men's vehicle at Cemetery Road and Interstate 270 northbound, and they were arrested, Litchfield said.
* A queen-size bedding set worth $49 was reported stolen at 2:50 p.m. Dec. 3 from the 4600 block of Stonehill Street.
* A 35-year-old man was arrested for misdemeanor possession of drug-abuse instruments at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 6 on the 4500 block of Cemetery Road.
