A man told Grandview Heights police the rear window of his vehicle was shattered Dec. 9 while the car was parked in the lot behind the Bank Block on the 1200 block of Grandview Avenue.
The man said he parked his car a little before 10 a.m. As he was walking back to his vehicle a short time later, he heard a noise and discovered the broken window.
He said he doesn't know who or what caused the damage, adding there was no other damage to the car and it didn't appear as if an attempt had been made to enter the vehicle.

* A resident of the 1000 block of West Second Avenue told police her bicycle valued at $250 was stolen from her garage between Nov. 28 and Dec. 5. A resident of the 1400 block of Mulford Road also reported her bicycle worth $200 was stolen from her garage Dec. 10.
* A resident of the 1100 block of Grandview Avenue told police several packages were stolen after being delivered to her porch about noon Dec. 11.
The packages' contents included placemats, pans, coats, a T-shirt and a handbag, together worth $1,235, reports said.
