Bexley police said an employee of the Bexley Public Library, 2411 E. Main St., reported an unknown female removed a cash lock box from behind the downstairs counter at 1:26 p.m. Dec. 22. The thief left the library with the lock box and key, reports stated.
In other recent Bexley incident reports:
* An employee of a store on the 2200 block of East Main Street reported an unidentified female entered the store between 9:17 and 9:20 p.m. Dec. 20 and stole four packs of steak valued at $60. The thief was last seen leaving the area in a red Dodge van, headed westbound on East Main Street, reports stated.
* A resident on the 2700 block of Powell Avenue reported that on Dec. 20, someone broke into two vehicles and stole miscellaneous items.
* A resident on the 2200 block of Commonwealth Park South reported on Dec. 18 someone had stolen a package that had been delivered to her residence.
* A resident of the 500 block of Park Drive reported someone stole the rear license plate from his vehicle between Nov. 25 and Nov. 26 while it was parked at the back of his residence.
