A Grandview Heights man pleaded guilty Jan. 9 to two counts of rape after he was accused of abusing two children last year.
Terry J. McFadden, 70, changed his plea from not guilty to guilty Jan. 9 in Franklin County Common Pleas Court.
Both charges are first-degree felonies. McFadden will be sentenced March 3.
A first-degree felony is subject to a sentence of three to 11 years in prison and a maximum of $20,000 in fines.
McFadden was arrested April 8 after police received a referral the previous day from Franklin County Children Services of possible inappropriate sexual conduct occurring at McFadden's Gladden Road home.
Police investigated allegations that McFadden had sexually abused two children, ages 4 and 7, in his home while they were attending a residential day care operated by his wife.
The investigation led to McFadden being charged with four counts of rape. He was indicted on the charges on April 17.
