A former Tim Hortons restaurant in Reynoldsburg will get new life as a Burger King.

The vacant site, 1885 Baltimore-Reynoldsburg Road, will undergo a $450,000 remodel, according to documents submitted to the Reynoldsburg Planning Commission.

Commissioners on Jan. 9 unanimously approved a minor site plan for the 2,780-square-foot restaurant.

Plans include exterior remodeling and the installation of a new kitchen and an exterior vestibule, which will allow a larger dining room area. A two-lane drive through is also planned, according to the documents approved by the commission.

The next planning commission meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Feb. 6, at City Hall, 7232 E. Main Street.
