Reynoldsburg has hired a public-service director.
William Dorman started his new position Jan. 27, bringing nearly two decades of experience with him, Mayor Joe Begeny said Jan. 23.
Dorman resigned this past August as public-service director for Bexley, a position he began in 2014.
He previously worked as New Albany's engineering manager and holds a bachelor of science degree in landscape horticulture from Ohio State University.
The public-service department is responsible for streets, sewers, stormwater management and refuse and recycling, including the street and sewer capital-improvement program.
Dorman replaces Bill Sampson, who resigned in May after three years, and will earn an annual salary of $95,000, according to a news release. The value of the benefits package was not provided.
