Grove City police received several reports of rear windows broken out of vehicles, following up a spate of about two dozen similar incidents that occurred during the night or early morning hours Feb. 24 to Feb. 26.

Those incidents occurred on Anna, Reaver, Richard, Thomas and Woodlawn avenues; Gingerwood, Jerome and Zinier courts; Farmbrook, Josephine, Kingswood, Maplegrove, Presley and Woodgrove drives; Dennis, Orchard and Wendy lanes; Sheldon Place; Devin Road and Goodman Street.

Two additional reports were filed Feb. 26 by residents on the 2300 block of Josephine Circle and 4000 block of Cypress Avenue.

A resident on the 3900 block of Jerome Court told police Feb. 28 the rear window of her vehicle was broken.

The officer taking the report informed her the damage had been observed by an officer on Feb. 26 and an unsuccessful attempt was made on that date to contact her.

The woman said she last saw the vehicle without damage at 7 p.m. Feb. 25 when she parked it on the street in front of her residence.

Police received three more vandalism reports on Feb. 29 from residents on the 3300 block of Woodlawn Avenue, 4000 block of Cypress Avenue and 4200 block of Ashgrove Drive.

The Woodlawn Avenue resident told police her security camera video showed a vehicle pulling up next to her car at 2:39 a.m. Feb. 29. The vehicle then sped away heading west on Woodlawn. The video then showed broken glass on the street behind her car.

On March 1, a resident on the 500 block of Scioto Meadows Boulevard reported the rear window of her car had been broken.

In all the reports, the vehicles had been parked on the street and nothing appeared to have been taken from them.

In other recent Grove City police reports:

* A resident on the 3500 block of Magnolia Street reported Feb. 26 that the bottom panel of her garage door was bent with a hole made in the bottom right corner. It appeared that no one gained entry to the garage, but damage was listed at $500.
