Officers responded to a dispute between the manager of a motel and the pastor of a local church at noon Feb. 26 on the first block of East Wilson Bridge Road, according to a Worthington Division of Police incident report.

The pastor said she lodged a homeless person at the motel while the person was waiting for an apartment.

The manager of the motel said it appeared someone punched a hole in the wall between Feb. 8 and Feb. 26 and demanded the pastor pay for the damage, to which the pastor refused, the report said.

Officers told the manager it was a civil matter, not a criminal matter, and they left the scene.
