Upper Arlington Public Library announced via social media April 2 that it will extend its branch closures more than another month due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The library’s Twitter account said all UAPL buildings will remain closed through May 17.

“The exterior book drops at the Main Library only will open Monday, May 4,” the Twitter post said. “Holds may be picked up at the Main Branch library only beginning May 4; this includes items originally designated to be picked up at our branches.

“Details for this process are still being worked out and may need to change based on any new information. Thank you for your patience during this ever-evolving situation, and we look forward to seeing you as soon as we can.”

The UAPL’s three branches have been closed since 6 p.m. March 13.
