Bexley police said a resident on the 2600 block of Ruhl Avenue reported a male had approached her house at 4:30 a.m. May 2 and attempted to open her locked front door.

Entry was not gained, and the incident was recorded on video, reports stated.

* Residents on the 1000 block of Grandon Avenue reported May 3 that someone had broken into their garage. No items were reported missing.

* A resident on the 2600 block of Bryden Road reported someone rummaged through his vehicle between 5 p.m. May 4 and 8:30 a.m. May 5 and removed a key chain with two keys.

* A resident on the 900 block of College Avenue reported someone had entered her unlocked car between 2:30 and 7 a.m. May 5 while it was parked in the carport and stole a CD stereo that was in the back seat. The resident said a green cloth mask was left behind on the side porch next to her car.
