Craig Treneff is the new chairman of the Central Ohio Transit Authority's board of trustees.
Treneff, an attorney at Treneff Cozza Law and a member of Westerville City Council since 2004, was elected by fellow board members June 24.
Treneff, who had been vice chairman, replaces Trudy Bartley, who is associate vice president for local government and community relations at Ohio State University.
The COTA board also elected Marlon Moore as vice chairman. Moore has been a COTA board member since 2018. He is the senior vice president and chief diversity and inclusion officer at Huntington National Bank.
The board named two new members, as well. They are Jennifer Gallagher and Julie Sloat, who replace Jean Carter Ryan and Gina Ormond, whose terms recently expired.
Gallagher is director of the city of Columbus Department of Public Service. Sloat is senior vice president for treasury and risk at American Electric Power.
