Bexley police said a resident on the 2100 block of East Broad Street reported the theft of a bicycle at 12:27 p.m. July 13 from a neighbor's property on the same block.

The offender was described as a white male wearing a black helmet with a blue baseball cap underneath, according to reports. He was last seen traveling eastbound on East Broad Street on a motorized skateboard. The stolen bicycle and the helmet, which also had been stolen, were found discarded at East Broad Street and James Road, reports stated.

In other recent reports from the Bexley Police Department:

* A resident on the 2300 block of East Livingston Avenue reported on July 12 that someone had stolen an item from his vehicle.

* An employee of a business on the 2200 block of East Livingston Avenue reported someone had stolen two 30-pack cases of beer at 6:12 a.m. July 12. A description of the thief was not provided.

* A man reported his cellphone had been stolen between 12:30 and 1 p.m. July 10 from the counter at a bank on the 2600 block of East Main Street.
