Mary Lou Whiteleather, 81, of Cambridge, passed away on Tuesday (May 8, 2018) at her home.

She was born Aug. 21, 1936 in Minerva, a daughter of the late Emmett Kryder and Jesse (Woodard) Kryder.

Mary Lou was a 1955 graduate of Minerva High School and attended Wooster College. She was protestant by faith and had worked as an office manager at her husband’s family practice. She later became a CNA and worked at the House Loreto in Canton. Mary Lou enjoyed snow skiing, camping, reading murder mystery novels, watching television, vacationing at the Outer Banks, and especially spending time with her grandchildren who lovingly called her "Moo."

Mary Lou is preceded in death by her parents; the father of her children, Dr. Richard Freed Whiteleather; a sister, Doris (Harold) Kryder Morrow; a brother, Robert Kryder; two sons, Bradley Scott Whiteleather and Todd Allen Whiteleather; and a son-in-law, David Brian Kuhlman.

She is survived by two daughters, Renee (Chuck) Whiteleather Burgess and Michelle Kuhlman; a daughter-in-law, Jeri Renee Whiteleather; grandchildren, Kristen LeBeau Burgess (Leo Polasky), Kelly Brooke Burgess, Leon Endsley, Erin Lynn Kuhlman, Andrew Scott Kuhlman, Carlie Rose Whiteleather, Ashton Scott (Kristen) Whiteleather; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Jennifer; and Mary Lou’s beloved dogs, Macy and Bogey.
