Citing personal reasons, all-state running back Devin Dukes has transferred to Grove City High School from Ready.
Dukes, a junior, said his first day at Grove City was March 16.
Dukes was first-team all-state and the district’s Offensive Player of the Year in Division VI last season, rushing for 2,194 yards and 32 touchdowns.
Ready finished 8-4, losing to Newark Catholic 20-14 in overtime in a Region 23 semifinal.
Grove City, a Division I program, is coming off a 0-10 season and has a new coach in Tennyson Varney.
