The Hilliard Davidson High School football team couldn’t find the end zone Oct. 6 at Upper Arlington, but the Wildcats’ kicker carried them to victory.

Sean Carrier’s feat – providing all of his team’s points in a 9-6 win over the Golden Bears – earned him our Player of the Week honor.

Carrier made a 43-yard field goal in the second quarter and kicked two more in the fourth – a 48-yarder with 6:18 to play to tie the game and a 43-yarder with 23 seconds left to win it.

It was Davidson’s 11th consecutive victory over UA.

Carrier won the vote among ThisWeek staff and our Twitter poll, which received 1,399 votes in 24 hours.
