The Pickerington Local School District has announced that the football game between Pickerington High School Central and Pickerington North on Oct. 12 has been moved from Tiger Stadium to Gahanna because of “poor field conditions.”

“This determination was made because greater than normal (rainfall) this season has resulted in significant damage to the field,” the school district said Oct. 7 in a press release.

According to Tigers coach Jay Sharrett, Central’s home game against Grove City on Oct. 26 also will be moved to a neutral location, although the site has yet to be determined.

Rainfall leading up to the last game played at Central on Sept. 27 contributed to muddy conditions.
