Three races have developed among the ThisWeekSPORTS.com predictions panel.

We will predict games through the state finals, so there is time for someone to make a move up -- or down -- but here’s how it’s looking.

First: Neil Thompson followed up back-to-back 14-1 weeks with a 13-2 showing to move one game behind Patrick Dolan, who went 12-3 and leads the panel at 91-29. Jarrod Ulrey also went 13-2 to stay in a tie with Thompson. Eric Frantz went 12-3 to remain three games back and round out the upper echelon.

Fifth: Lee Cochran and Andy Resnik each went 11-4 and are 84-36 overall, one game ahead of Steve Blacklege, two ahead of Scott Hennen and Jeff Stevenson and three up on Frank DiRenna. Four games back are Ryan Baker and Dave Purpura.

Basement: Brad Emerine went 12-3 to improve to 78-42 and break a tie for last with John Hulkenberg, who went 7-8 and is 73-47. Scott Hummel, who went 10-5, rests between them at 75-45.

Enjoy Week 9!
