All four of last year’s Division I district champions from the Central District in boys basketball are off to perfect starts and comprise four of the top five spots in the latest ThisWeek Super 7.

Hilliard Bradley has moved up two spots to No. 3 but appears to be in a dead heat with Pickerington Central and Dublin Coffman that might not get solved for weeks.

Reynoldsburg, the other defending district champion, has a mostly new lineup but has looked sharp so far and is at No. 5.

Upper Arlington and Olentangy Liberty, which are Nos. 4 and 7, respectively, both are 1-1 but with a one-point loss.

In the latest girls rankings, Africentric and Pickerington Central remain unchanged from the preseason as the top two, respectively, with Coffman moving to No. 3.

Watterson, which is 5-0, is new to the rankings. The Eagles likely will have to get past UA on Dec. 10 and No. 6 Gahanna on Dec. 12, though, to extend their stay. UA was seventh in the preseason.
