The DeSales football team had its season end with a 42-7 loss to Harrison in a Division II, Region 8 semifinal Nov. 15 at Washington Court House Miami Trace.

After giving up a pair of first-quarter touchdowns, the seventh-seeded Stallions cut their deficit to 14-7 on a 35-yard touchdown run by Quintell Quinn with 10 minutes, 4 seconds left in the first half.

The third-seeded Wildcats, who led 21-7 at halftime, improved to 11-1 and will play top-seeded Cincinnati La Salle in the regional final Nov. 22.

DeSales, which finished 9-3, gave up 420 yards of offense and held the ball for just 17:57.

Quinn led the Stallions with 97 yards rushing on 19 carries. Matthew Stewart had three catches for 48 yards and Owen Faulkner added two receptions for 42 yards.

Harrison quarterback Connor Kinnett finished 17-for-25 passing for 227 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for three scores, Levi Tidwell had eight catches for 99 yards and two touchdowns and Cam Hering had 120 yards rushing on 22 carries.
