Doug Hare has spent far more time than he planned talking to attorneys and insurance agents this spring.
The Central Ohio Youth Baseball League president is eager to finally resume talking about action on the diamond. Gov. Mike DeWine’s comments Monday, however, confirm the delay to the start of the 2020 season will continue.
“Obviously, we are waiting for more information from (DeWine),” Hare said. “It was good to see retail getting ready to open back up in the next couple weeks. What we initially planned on was probably not being able to start practicing until mid-May, which it could be a little bit longer than that.”
