Chick-fil-A taking over Logan's spot in Reynoldsburg
A vacant Logan's Roadhouse will be demolished this fall to make room for a new Chick-fil-A location.
The Reynoldsburg Planning Commission unanimously approved a major site plan Aug. 6 for a 5,000-square-foot Chick-fil-A restaurant at 2364 Taylor Park Drive, just north of the state Route 256 entrance ramp to Interstate 70.
Construction is expected to start in April 2021, and the restaurant is scheduled to open in September, said Allan Wiley of GBC Design Inc., the project's civil-engineering and architecture firm.
The restaurant will have indoor seating room for more than 100 and an outdoor patio.
The Reynoldsburg location will have a larger kitchen than the Chick-fil-A at 6240 E. Broad St., and it will have a dual-lane drive-thru, Wiley said.
"It'll be much more efficient than the one on East Broad is," he said.
