Reynoldsburg: Multiple mattresses taken from storage unit in Reynoldsburg

An employee at a store on the 2600 block of Taylor Road Southwest called Reynoldsburg police at 8 a.m. June 13 to report the theft of several mattresses from an outdoor storage unit.

According to reports, a surveillance camera recorded two people taking the merchandise and loading it into a dark-color pickup truck during the overnight hours June 13.

* Police responded shortly after 11:30 a.m. June 18 to a report of gunshots fired on the 6200 block of Whenham Court. Upon arrival, officers located four 9mm shell casings next to a car but were unable to locate a suspect. No injuries were reported.

* Officers arrested a 32-year-old Columbus woman on OVI charges shortly after 4 a.m. June 14 after they were called to a disturbance at a business on the 2400 block of Brice Road.

* A Reynoldsburg man on June 12 reported the theft of more than $3,100 in model cars from his garage on the 6900 block of Blackoak Drive. The man said the theft had occurred between 10 p.m. June 7 and 8 a.m. June 8.

* An employee at a business on the 8800 block of East Broad Street called police at 3:01 a.m. June 12 to report two people stole six cases of beer and fled the store in a dark-color SUV.
