New Albany police investigating pharmacy robbery
The New Albany Police Department is investigating a reported armed robbery just before 5 p.m. July 19 at the CVS Pharmacy, 175 W. Main St., according to city spokesman Scott McAfee.
The alleged robber was described as a 6-foot-tall Black male with a gun, according to McAfee. He was wearing black sweats, a black hooded sweatshirt, a black mask and white or gray Nike shoes, and he was in the store for about 90 seconds, according to McAfee.
He took money and drugs, fled east on U.S. Route 62 and was believed to have gotten into a vehicle, McAfee said.
Detectives are investigating and reviewing video, McAfee said.
