Bexley: Firearm lifted from vehicle in Bexley

Bexley police said a resident on the 2800 block of East Broad Street reported his firearm was stolen between 5:30 p.m. July 20 and 6:30 a.m. July 21 from his vehicle in the parking lot of his apartment building.

In other reports from the Bexley police department:

* A resident on the 800 block of Sheridan Avenue reported someone stole a propane tank between 7:30 p.m. July 19 and 10 p.m. July 20 from a grill at the rear of the property.

* An employee of a store on the 2200 block of East Main Street reported someone entered at 12:46 p.m. July 20, went to the detergent aisle, pulled out a black trash bag and put six, 72-count detergent pod containers in the bag and then left the store. The witness asked the person to leave the merchandise before he exited the store. The employee said the man walked south on the west side of the store and entered a green vehicle driven by a female and left west on East Main Street, according to reports.

* An employee of a store on the 2200 East Main Street reported that on July 17, someone loaded a reusable canvas grocery bag with items from the store and left without paying. The person exited the store through the doors on the north side of the building and was last seen walking eastbound through the parking lot, reports stated.
