Columbus Division of Police officers pose with their new three-wheel Harley-Davidson motorcycles Aug. 9, 1945.
The motorcycles were added to the department’s fleet of 18 two-wheel motorcycles.
The three-wheelers were used for patrolling downtown as officers monitored parking and other traffic violations.
The three-wheelers replaced older models that were given to the Columbus Division of Fire.
