Local artist Michael Dickinson paints a winter holiday scene on the windows of Schmidt's Sausage Haus and Restaurant, 240 E. Kossuth St. in German Village, on Nov. 9. For the past few years, Dickinson, 66, of Hilliard has painted the windows at both Schmidt’s Fudge Haus and Schmidt’s Sausage Haus und Restaurant. He is the co-owner of the Fudge Haus with partner Tim Dick.
Brilliant sunshine and bright blue skies create a silhouette of musician Will Freed as he performs a curbside concert at Majestic Care of Columbus at 44 S. Souder Ave. on April 18. Dozens of residents enjoyed the surprise visit and were even heard singing along to Freed's rendition of Billy Joel's "Piano Man."
