Reynoldsburg: Stabbing report results in arrest on two charges

Police responding to a stabbing report at 1 a.m. Aug. 30 on the 7300 block of Warwick Avenue arrested a 31-year-old Reynoldsburg man on domestic-violence and felonious-assault charges.

The report did not state if the victim was transported to a hospital.

In other recent Reynoldsburg police reports:

* A 32-year-old Reynoldsburg man was arrested on assault and criminal-damaging charges shortly after 11:17 a.m. Aug. 31, when officers were called to an apartment on the 7600 block of South Oakbrook Drive.

* An employee at a pharmacy on the 6600 block of East Main Street called police at 5:39 p.m. Aug. 31 to report a man fled the store on foot with about $60 in merchandise.

* A 41-year-old Reynoldsburg man was arrested on domestic-violence and assault charges after police responded at 4:19 p.m. Aug. 30 to a disturbance on the 800 block of Gilmore Drive.

* Police issued a mayor's-court summons for assault charges to a 19-year-old Reynoldsburg man after they responded to an assault complaint at 7:12 p.m. Aug. 29 on the 2700 block of Taylor Road SW.

* Officers issued a mayor's-court summons to a 72-year-old Newark man on charges of animal cruelty after they were called to a department store on the 2600 block of Taylor Road SW at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 29.

* Police arrested a 31-year-old Reynoldsburg man on charges of heroin possession and possession or use of illegal drug paraphernalia shortly after 4:17 p.m. Aug. 28 after investigating a complaint about a suspicious car in the parking lot at a department store on the 2700 block of Taylor Road SW.

* A 20-year-old Columbus man was charged with carrying a concealed weapon after police were called at 12:15 a.m. Aug. 23 to investigate a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of a gas station on the 6200 block of East Livingston Avenue.

According to police reports, the man also faces charges of drug possession, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Officers arrested a 28-year-old Reynoldsburg woman on domestic-violence and assault charges at 1:59 a.m. Aug. 28 after responding to a dispute on the 800 block of Marlan Avenue.

* An employee at a business on the 2200 block of Reynoldsburg-Baltimore Road called police at 4:51 a.m. Aug. 26 to report two people ran out of the store without paying for several cases of beer.

* Police arrested a 37-year-old Canal Winchester man on multiple charges after responding to a report that items had been stolen from a car on the 6300 block of Brauning Drive at 12:30 a.m. Aug. 22.

Police reports said the man faces charges of theft, possession of criminal tools, criminal damaging and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

* A 36-year-old Cincinnati woman was arrested on charges of possession of controlled substance and possession of drug abuse instruments at 1:08 a.m. Aug. 22 shortly after officers responded to a complaint about a suspicious car in the parking lot of a store on the 2700 block of Taylor Road SW.
