Members of the Marion-Franklin High School football team celebrate after defeating Columbus South 18-12 to earn a share of Columbus' City League championship in 1968. Both the Red Devils and Linden-McKinley finished 6-0 in league play. Eastmoor was third at 5-1, with the Bulldogs and Northland going 4-2 to tie for fourth. The first City League championship game was played in 1971.
